Scattering Resources is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides information and resources to disadvantaged individuals of Haiti and the U.S. to enable every person to reach their goals. Your generous contributions will enable us to keep fighting health, education, and the financial stability of every person in your community and in Haiti.

Volunteer with us

There are many ways to get involved. Please consider joining in our fight to increase SR awareness. Scattering Resources is actively recruiting volunteer committee members to join one of our 6 working committees:

In-Person

In-person volunteer opportunities typically consist of sorting, counting, and recording in-kind donation. But there are so many ways to help, join us and learn more about how you can uniquely contribute!

Virtual

Volunteer with Scattering Resources by answering one of our “Calls to Action“! While physical volunteers will always be in demand, the shift towards the internet has made virtual volunteer positions plentiful. Contact your Human Resources (HR) department for permission to engage your workplace for a fundraising campaign. Many offices regularly coordinate Denim Days or other fun engagement events. And, many employers also offer a corporate match!

Matching Gifts

Ask your employer if they have a gift matching program. If your company is eligible, you may need to complete the gift matching process online or request a form from them!

5k Walk/Run

Download the Scattering Resources Walk/Run mobile app — available in the Apple Store or Google Play or join us in person. You can run or walk wherever works for you – on the road/sidewalk by your house, on a treadmill, a track, or even outside on a trail at your own pace.

Corporate Sponsor

Corporate sponsorships allow businesses to support charitable causes in exchange for financial contributions or assistance. There are two types: organization sponsors and fundraising sponsors. To get started, please contact us via email us workshops@scatteringresources.org at to explore sponsorship opportunities with our organization.

Donor Advised Funds

Simplify your giving and amplify your strategic philanthropic goals by supporting Scattering Resources through a donation from your Donor Advised Fund. To donate to Scattering Resources through a donor advised fund, contact your fund to create your gift.

Contact your IRA Plan Administrator to make a gift from your IRA to Scattering Resources. Your IRA funds will be directly transferred to Scattering Resources to help continue our
